Historically, Russian Caravan tea was the most important drink after vodka in old Russia. The tea was famous for the smoky smell of the camp fire it would absorb along the journey from China to Moscow.
Today Russian Caravan tea is created through the blending of Chinese black teas and smoky Lapsang Souchong. This produces a slightly bolder and sweeter cup than Lapsang alone, that is more mellow in its smokiness.
Enjoy with or without milk.
